Terms and Conditions - Bookings and Bond Payments

Confirmation by 50% booking fee of your catering Quote is required to secure the date and catering of your function. All prices in our catering portfolio are inclusive of GST

Cancellation Policy: Should you wish to cancel the catering/booking, the following conditions apply: Cancellations must be received in writing.

  • 14 days-1 month prior-50% of your catering quote cost will apply
  • 13 days or less-100% of your catering quote cost will apply

Payment and Final Numbers:

  • 50% non refundable deposit/booking fee provided to book in your function/secure your date - this amount is credited to your final account
  • 14 days prior-balance catering quote cost will apply
    • Once final numbers are given this will be taken as confirmation and any guest cancellations after this point will not be credited to your quote/invoice
  • (final numbers are to be provided no later than 14 days prior to the function - a small increase in numbers will be accepted but, no decrease

Payment can be made by EFT.  Direct deposits are also accepted, bank account details below.

Alcohol: "Professional Chef Catering" is obliged to abide by State government regulation regarding the responsible service of alcohol. Intoxicated persons, minors and those whose behavior is considered by management as disorderly will be refused beverage service. It is your responsibility to ensure orderly conduct of your guests. By law "Professional Chef Catering" must conclude the service of alcohol by 12 midnight.

Experienced Service Staff: We carefully select our staff for your function based on experience, skill and a genuine desire to serve people. We see serving our clients as a privilege. Menu prices do not include staff. The number of chefs, waiters and bar staff will depend on the size of your function and your menu selection. Staff for your function will be invoiced at the following hourly rates. Waiters, Chefs and Bar Staff 40 $ per hour and Supervisor 55 $ per person. Minimum 4 Hour Shifts. Staff hours at functions are estimated in accordance with your catering and function requirements. Should staff be required to work beyond the estimated times the additional hours will be invoiced after your event and payment due immediately. Be employing our services you are also employing our staff and you agree not to arrange or source your own staff. In our experience, using our professional staff contributes to the smooth and successful running of your function.

Additional Meals: Meals for entertainers and photographers are charged at $30.00 each and includes one main course and one dessert only

Damage, Breakage or Loss of Property: You are responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings, merchandise and gifts. "Professional Chef Catering" will not accept any responsibility for the loss of or damage to any such property, before during or after the function. If required, you should arrange your own personal insurance. Damage, breakage or loss of any equipment supplied by "Professional Chef Catering" are the responsibility of the client and any associated costs will be payable by the client on upon receipt of an invoice.

Indemnity: "Professional Chef Catering" uses only the freshest and best available food and ingredients according to current food safety legislation of prepared food under the most hygienic conditions. However, no liability is accepted for any latent defect in any product used by us or any loss however arising there from.

Price Variation: All prices quoted are subject to variation. Notice will be given in writing of changes. Please expect an annual increase to occur 1 st of January each Year. Prices are current for 2023.
